Bob Crosby and His Orchestra registrò l’originale di “Fool Rush In” il 18 marzo 1940 per la Decca. Nel 1940, questo brano fu inciso sia da Glenn Miller che da Tommy Dorsey, così come molti altri artisti — Frank Sinatra procurò i vocalist per la versione di Dorsey. La versione di Elvis Presley copia l’arrangiamento del 1963, fatto da Ricky Nelson, dove James Burton suonava la lead guitar. La registrazione casalinga informale del 1966, dove Elvis Presley canta questo brano in modo più gentile, venne ufficialmente pubblicato nel CD “In A Private Moment."
