By Bobbie Whiteman For Dailymail.com

Where No One Stands Alone,

Where No One Stands Alone

Where No One Stands Alone.

Where No One Stands Alone.

Lisa Marie Presley reveals she's 'proud' to have overcome drug addiction as she talks up new Elvis album

She's had a tough few years, and Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie isn't done with all her problems yet.

But the 50-year-old revealed that she is 'proud' of her recovery from drug addiction in an interview with The Today Show's Jenna Bush Hager aired on Friday.

I’m not perfect, my father wasn’t perfect, no one’s perfect. It’s what you do with it after you learn—and then you try to help others with it,' she said.
New music: Her interview, from her childhood home Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, aired on Friday, the same days as the release of her album, Elvis Presley: Where No On Stands Alone

Making it through: The celebrity, 50, revealed that her therapist believes she’s a miracle, and doesn’t know how she’s still alive after her drugs battle

'I’ve come a long way, I was not happy,' Lisa Marie admitted, adding that her issues with drugs started when she was 45.

Slaying her demons: Lisa Marie Presley said she's 'proud' of her recovery from drug addiction in an interview with The Today Show's Jenna Bush Hager that aired on Friday

'But I am proud,' the mom-of-four said of her recovery.

Lisa Marie added that even her therapist believes she’s a miracle, and doesn’t know how she’s still alive.

'I’m not perfect, my father wasn’t perfect, no one’s perfect. It’s what you do with it after you learn—and then you try to help others with it,' she said.

New music: Her interview, from her childhood home Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, aired on Friday, the same days as the release of her album, Elvis Presley: Where No On Stands Alone

With her beloved dad: Lisa Marie told Jenna she wished her father, Elvis, was still with her

The star’s friends were very concerned about her wellbeing last year after she went on a drug-fueled downward spiral.
They even thought she’d end up dying of an overdose, just like Elvis who died of a drug-induced heart attack aged 42 on August 16, 1977.

Singing her heart out: The star sang a duet with her late father on his hit gospel song Where No One Stands Alone for the new album
Meanwhile, Lisa Marie was on the show to promote her new album, Elvis Presley: Where No One Stands Alone.

Speaking at her childhood home Graceland in Memphis Tennessee, she said she believes her father would be 'incredibly proud' of the record and of their duet on his hit gospel song, Where No One Stands Alone.
'I was overwhelmed when I was singing it,' she said, adding that she broke down in tears while doing the duet.

Lisa Marie was the sole heir to her father's $100 million fortune. But the broke celebrity is currently suing her ex-money manager, Barry Siegel, for allegedly running her trust fund into the ground due to 'reckless and negligent' investments.
In answer to a question about what she would say to Elvis today, she replied, only half jokingly, 'Help me!'
The album was released on Friday — just six days before the anniversary of Elvis' death.
